Ta-Ta started as a personal mission to protect myself from insects, without exposing myself to the harmful chemicals found in traditional repellents or overwhelming scents found in common natural alternatives. I used to prefer getting bitten rather than using conventional repellents, but with the growing concern over insect-borne diseases, I felt compelled to create something that could help prevent bites from the start, without compromising my health or the environment.

After leaving my corporate job in 2018, I decided to take time to travel. During my adventures, I started discovering unique natural remedies in local apothecaries—blends that felt like hidden gems, too special to find back home. These natural formulations worked wonders, far surpassing the mass-produced products I was used to. It was frustrating to see how often even so-called “natural” or “sustainable” repellents still contained harmful ingredients or were packaged using unsustainable materials.

Once I had my feet firmly planted back home and without access to those precious blends, I was driven to create my own. I eventually developed a formula that was not only effective at helping to keep the bugs at bay, but also had a pleasant, gentle scent—something I could feel good about wearing throughout the day.

I no longer have to choose between getting bitten or covering myself in chemicals when I venture out. I can enjoy the outdoors knowing that what I’m using is safe, natural, and contained in sustainable packaging.

Once I had THE blend, friends and family started asking to try it—and to my surprise, they loved it too! Even the friends who were notorious mosquito magnets said it worked better than their usual repellents. A local shop asked to start carrying the spray, that’s when I realized this was something worth sharing beyond my inner circle.
